Cranston’s all-natural Black Angus beef burger stuffed with blue cheese and topped with bacon

These loaded, but lean and healthy burgers pack a hearty meal between two fresh buns!

Ingredients:

1 lbs Cranston’s all-natural lean ground beef

1 small Vidalia or white onion, diced

1 egg

1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

½ teaspoon sea salt

½ teaspoon garlic powder

¼ teaspoon pepper

1/3 cup crumbled blue cheese

1 lbs Cranston’s double smoked sliced side bacon

4 whole wheat hamburger buns

Directions:

Combine ground beef, diced onion, egg, and olive oil.

Shape beef mixture into 8 thin patties.

Spoon blue cheese crumbles onto 4 of the patties, top with remaining patties and press edges firmly to seal.

Combine salt, garlic powder, and pepper; sprinkle over patties.

Grill burgers over medium heat for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until internal temperature reaches 160 F / 70 C.

Layer cooked bacon onto patty.

Serve on fresh whole wheat hamburger buns and top with preferred garnish.
